Boat Races

There are weekly boat races in the Gone Fishing Game.To find out when check Announcements on the home page.To register go to EXPLORE and under THINGS TO DO click on BOAT RACES.
There is a fee to enter but very good prizes.You can check on this link where you register to see race progress and the final result.

After the race: You will find that some of your items will loose durability making them weaker for the next race so you will need to renew these by moving Boat safety items such as Can of Aerostart,Emergency foil blanket,spare drain plug,marine fire extinguisher,Aquatic first aid kit,bottle of whiskey...into your inventory from Private jetty and use to bring these back to full strength.

There are some bitchin machines around in the game and there is a rumour of a dingy with a 500 horsepower outboard if he doesn't flip at the start he is a silly chance so get a good start.
